The Encinitas Historical Society is located in the 1883 Schoolhouse, a stone’s throw east of Moonlight Beach and one block west of Coast Highway 101, the heart of the City’s downtown district.
The Schoolhouse shares free parking with the Pacific View Art Center during business hours and Saturdays.

Directions
Coming from the I-5 take Encinitas Blvd (Exit 41B) west toward the ocean. Turn left on Route 101, and right on F Street. The Schoolhouse is on the top of the hill on the right.
Parking is available outside the Old Schoolhouse and on F Street.
The Encinitas train station is 10-minutes away walking.
Admission is free though donations are always welcome!
Guided Tours
Free guided downtown walks lasting ninety minutes start in the Old Schoolhouse at 10:00 a.m. every third Saturday of every month except August.
