Donations

Dear Visitor,

The Encinitas Historical Society is a nonprofit organization proudly serving the Encinitas community and its surrounding areas since the early 1980s.

Housed in the historic 1883 Schoolhouse, the Society is dedicated to preserving this cherished building, its grounds, and its collection of historically significant artifacts.

Our committed leadership team diligently manages the Society’s operations and assets to sustain and grow its mission.

Currently, we are undertaking a historic, multi-year transition into the digital realm, guided by the vision and expertise of our first professional archivist, Dr. Hillel Schwartz.

To continue our work, the Society relies on funding from private and government grants, merchandise sales, membership dues, and generous donations from individuals and organizations. All four are vital to keeping our organization thriving.

We honor and appreciate the vision and generosity of those who have supported us throughout the years.

We invite you to join this tradition of stewardship by supporting our worthy cause.

In 2025 we implemented a state-of-the-art collection platform enabling donations from anywhere in the world via QR codes and URL links. Here they are below – don’t spare their use!
